Pakistan’s female netball team has been crowned champions of the Asian Youth Girls’ Netball Championship 2025, after a dominant 60-35 victory over the Maldives in the final held in Jeonju, South Korea.
The final took place at the Jeonju Hwasan Gymnasium, where the Pakistani girls showed complete control from start to finish. They ended the tournament undefeated, outclassing each opponent with tactical discipline and high energy.
Pakistan took an early lead, finishing the first quarter 17-5 ahead. By halftime, they were up 34-17 and carried that momentum through the second half, never allowing the Maldives to recover.
Key players such as Leya Raza Shah, Alisha Naveed, Sumayya Kouser, Haleema, Jasmine Farooq, Amani, Parisa, and Farah Rasheed delivered standout performances. Each athlete played an important role in both defense and attack.
This victory marks Pakistan’s sixth consecutive title in the Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship, reflecting their continued growth and dominance in the region. The 2025 edition ran from June 27 to July 4 and was hosted by the Asian Netball Federation.
