India’s planning attacks in Pakistan’s major cities, says Asif

India planning attacks in Pakistan

Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has warned that India planning attacks in Pakistan will be met with full and decisive retaliation, asserting that Pakistan is “200% ready” to respond with full force.

According to media reports, Asif stated that Pakistan does not want conflict and is not considering the use of nuclear power under any circumstances.

However, he emphasized that Pakistan’s nuclear capability is not for war but a powerful deterrent that ensures the country’s sovereignty and long-term national survival.

“We are a nuclear state not because we want war, but because it gives us strength to defend our independence,” said Asif.

He accused India of supporting terror activities in Pakistan by providing explosives to banned groups like BLA and TTP to destabilize major cities.

“India backs bloodshed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan,” he claimed. “These outfits work as proxies to spread chaos nationwide.”

Asif also said Indian involvement in global terrorism is not new, referring to incidents in Canada and the US that raised serious international concerns.

He reminded viewers that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was once banned from the United States (US) over alleged links to the Gujarat riots.

Discussing the recent Pahalgam incident, Asif said Indian media is blaming Pakistan without evidence, using a “Bollywood-style” narrative to mislead people.

He added that Muslims also died in the Pahalgam attack, yet the Indian media is manipulating the story and turning it into anti-Pakistan propaganda.

On the Indus Waters Treaty, Asif warned India’s reported move to end it could escalate regional tensions, pushing Pakistan to take legal action globally.

“If India suspends the treaty, we’ll approach the International Court of Justice. Such actions risk peace between nuclear-armed neighbors,” he stated firmly.

He also urged Afghanistan to stop cross-border violence, reminding that Pakistan has hosted over six million Afghan refugees and made countless sacrifices.
