Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has completed the auction process for nine designated cattle markets across the city ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha season.
According to officials, award letters will be issued to successful bidders in the coming days, after which markets will become operational for citizens’ convenience.

In Central District, cattle markets will be established at Sunday Car Bazaar D-11, New Karachi, and Al-Noor Society KMC Ground, near Samanabad Police Station.
In West District, a market is planned at Northern Bypass Slaughter House, Surjani Town, while another will be located in Cattle Colony, Arabi District, also in Surjani Town.
Malir Bin Qasim Town, Landhi, will host a market at Chicken Feed Mill Ground, and Industrial Road, Korangi, is also among the selected sites.
A goat market will be organized in Pedi Lyari, Keamari, and another market is set for Gulistan-e-Jauhar, behind the KMC Ground in East District.
