CNG stations in Sindh to remain closed for next 24 hours

All Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations and captive power units across Sindh will be closed for 24 hours.

According to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), the closure will begin at 8 am on Sunday and last until 8 am on Monday, during this period, gas supply to captive power units will also be suspended.

This decision affects all CNG stations and captive power units, including those in Karachi.

The closure schedule has been implemented to manage gas distribution across the province.

It’s worth noting that in April last year, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) increased the price of CNG by Rs 11.70 per kg, with an 18 percent sales tax imposed on CNG priced at Rs 200 per kilogram.
