Pakistan to host historic world bodybuilding event in October, featuring 300+ participants

In a groundbreaking achievement, Pakistan is set to host its first-ever World Bodybuilding event in October this year, marking a significant milestone in the country’s sporting history. The World Bodybuilding Organization has granted Pakistan the privilege to host this prestigious event for the first time.

The upcoming mega event is poised to showcase the prowess of more than 300 bodybuilders and models, who will compete across 30 diverse categories, including the renowned Mr. and Miss Universe categories.

The international event will be organized under the umbrella of the Global Powerlifting and Physique International (GPBI), with the leadership of GPBI Pakistan President Ramiz Ibrahim Khan.

Khan enthusiastically shared that bodybuilders and participants from approximately 40 countries are expected to participate in this event, representing a truly global and diverse field. Notable countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, and India are among those sending their representatives.

The event will not only showcase exceptional physical prowess but also feature a touch of glamour, with popular Pakistani actors Umar Shahzad and Mohammad Raees participating in the fashion model category, adding a touch of star power to the event.

Highlighting inclusivity and diversity, the event will also feature the participation of three talented women from Pakistan, who will compete in the powerlifting category, further contributing to the event’s global representation.

Ramiz Ibrahim Khan proudly emphasized that this historic event marks a monumental achievement for Pakistan in the field of bodybuilding. The country is gearing up to host a spectacular and grand event that will not only celebrate physical fitness and strength but also underscore the spirit of unity and camaraderie among nations.
