The President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Dr Marks has said that at present Pakistan is not being removed from the gray list.
However, he said that all points have been complied with and the decision to remove Pakistan from the gray list will be taken after the report of the review team, which will visit soon.
The four-day FATF meeting kicked off in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday, with 206 FATF members and delegates representing observers attending the plenary session. United, World Bank and Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units.
During a media briefing after the meeting of the Financial Action Task Force in Berlin, FATF President Dr Marks said that Pakistan has achieved the given targets and that these will be good for the security and stability of Pakistan.
He said that the member countries appreciated the performance, in the last two years we have reviewed the counter-terrorism measures five times. “Pakistan implemented both the action plans ahead of time,” he said.
