Jawad Sohrab Malik, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis, conducted a meeting with Rashid Saad Al-Rashid, the Chairman of Al-Rashid Group in Saudi Arabia. The meeting aimed to enhance collaboration and explore opportunities for increased employment for Pakistani workers.
The Al-Rashid Group, a prominent Saudi conglomerate with various mega-projects in the kingdom, welcomed the Pakistani delegation, which included the SAPM, Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, DG of BEOE, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of OPHRD, and Embassy officers.
During the meeting, Malik expressed gratitude for the significant employment opportunities provided to Pakistani workers by the Al-Rashid Group. He urged the group to consider hiring even more Pakistani workers for their projects, assuring full cooperation in the recruitment process. Both parties affirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation.
Malik stated, "I am pleased to have met with Chairman Al-Rashid today to discuss opportunities for further cooperation between Pakistan and the Al-Rashid Group and am very grateful for the chairman’s commitment to hiring Pakistani workers and his willingness to consider further recruitment from Pakistan.”
In response, Rashid Saad Al-Rashid expressed the group’s positive history of collaboration with Pakistani companies and workers. He acknowledged the valuable contributions of Pakistani workers to their projects and affirmed their commitment to continued recruitment from Pakistan. The Al-Rashid Group also expressed openness to exploring new areas of cooperation with Pakistan.
