Over 130 Chinese entrepreneurs are set to participate in Pakistan’s first international food and agriculture exhibition, FoodAg 2023, scheduled to take place in Karachi from August 10 to 12. Ghulam Qadir, the Commercial Counsellor at Pakistan Embassy Beijing, shared that they have received an overwhelming response from Chinese businessmen, with 130 of them already registered with the Pakistan embassy and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) for the event.
Organized by TDAP, FoodAg 2023 carries the theme of "A Sustainable Future” and aims to bring together international and local communities to foster hope for building a common future. The exhibition offers a platform for networking and exploring business opportunities in the food and agriculture sectors.
Ghulam Qadir expressed that the previous TEXPO event had a significant impact and was attended by a large number of Chinese businessmen. As a result, more entrepreneurs now intend to travel to Pakistan to explore potential business opportunities.
FoodAg 2023 holds great promise for enhancing trade relations between China and Pakistan and strengthening cooperation in the food and agriculture industries. The participation of over 130 Chinese entrepreneurs highlights the growing interest in the potential of the Pakistani market and opens doors for further economic collaboration between the two countries.
