In connection with the tragic case of Fatima’s murder, the driver of Pir Asad Shah from Ranipur has been apprehended by the police, as reported by ARY News, citing credible sources.
The incident revolves around the death of 10-year-old housemaid Fatima at the residence of Pir Asad Ali Shah in Ranipur Haveli. The postmortem examination substantiated that the young maid had been subjected to sexual abuse, a distressing revelation confirmed by DIG Sukkur, Javed Jiskani.
The driver, Aijaz Khaskheli, associated with Asad Shah, fled from Khairpur as the Fatima murder case gained public attention. The arrest of Aijaz Khaskheli was successfully executed in Karachi, according to insider information.
In earlier developments, the medical superintendent of the Ranipur Rural Health Centre, Ali Hassan Wassan, was apprehended by the police for his alleged involvement in aiding prime suspect Asad Shah and concealing crucial information regarding the murder case. It was alleged that Wassan had facilitated Asad Shah by transporting Fatima’s body in an ambulance without conducting the required post-mortem examination following the incident.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Sukkur division, Javed Jiskani, confirmed that the medical report substantiates the physical and sexual assault inflicted on the minor, Fatima. Additionally, the authorities have initiated DNA sampling from the inhabitants of Ranipur Haveli. The subsequent report will be pivotal in identifying the perpetrator behind the rape of Fatima, a critical step toward justice in this heartbreaking case.
