The Sindh police in Karachi punished three station house officers (SHOs) for allegedly failing to reduce street crime.

Details indicate that three SHOs from the Korangi Districts were suspended on the Deputy Inspector-(DIG) General’s East directives. The action was taken in response to the deaths of people who attempted to thwart robberies inside the perimeter of three police stations in the Korangi District.

They were suspended together with SHO Korangi Sohail Khaskheli, SHO Awami Colony Farooq Sanjarani, and SHO Zaman Town Humayun Khan.

As new station house officers, Jamal Leghari, Rizwan Patel, and Aamir Azam will be appointed (SHOs).
