ANP announces a boycott of the by-elections

The Awami National Party (ANP) announced a boycott of the by-elections at the request of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

According to ANP Provincial President Amil Wali Khan, the ANP had declared candidates for 18 constituencies, but the PDM requested not to participate in the elections, and when other partners chose not to participate in the elections, the ANP P also decided not to fight the elections.

According to Amil Wali, a so-called political party has created a mockery of electoral politics, billions of rupees of the nation’s money have been squandered by putting a candidate on many seats, a sector is attempting to disrespect Parliament, and the present economic condition.

Under the circumstances, it would be excessive to spend crores of rupees for 3 months, even if the general elections are announced tomorrow, ANP will be in the field.
