Mayor of Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, visited various areas of Golimar, where he met party workers at Shaheed Shah Nawaz Chowk and reviewed local issues including the water crisis.
During his visit, Wahab directed the concerned authorities to expand the reverse osmosis (RO) plant in Golimar, announcing the current capacity of the plant – 50,000 gallons – will be increased to 300,000 gallons.
He stressed that the expansion of the RO plant in Golimar and nearby areas will ensure access to clean drinking water.
Additionally, improvements to sanitation, water, and sewage systems are underway in the area.
Wahab also mentioned that Golimar and nearby areas, including Rizvia Colony, would benefit from these developments.
He added that the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Football Ground and Park in Golimar would soon be restored, with plans to green the area and equip it with modern facilities.
Providing quality sports and entertainment facilities for the youth of the Central District is a top priority, according to the Mayor.
