Man set to marry in two weeks gunned down by robbers in Karachi

In another tragic incident, a man set to marry in two weeks was gunned down by robbers in Karachi.

According to the media reports, the robbers intercepted the victim on the Banaras Flyover and tried to snatch a new motorcycle when the shooting occurred.

The deceased, identified as Jamal, a young man from Swat, was shot after resisting to the robbery attempt.

Meanwhile, the robbers managed to escape with Jamal’s new motorcycle, leaving behind his older one.

According to the victim’s family, Jamal had recently purchased the motorcycle and was set to marry in just two weeks, with wedding preparations already underway at his home.

Adding that the victim was the youngest of five brothers and had gone out for a ride with a friend when the tragic incident occurred.

This incident is one of the street crimes reported in Karachi, with 111 citizens already killed by robbers in 2024.

Over the months, the death toll has continued to rise, with incidents in January through November claiming the lives of citizens, including government officials, women, police officers, and even children.
