Slow internet speed reported in Karachi, Peshawar

Internet users in various areas of Karachi and Peshawar are experiencing significant disruptions, with complaints about slow browsing, downloading, and unstable Wi-Fi services.

In Karachi, affected areas include North Nazimabad, Gulshan, and Karsaz, where users report difficulties with both mobile data and Wi-Fi internet services.

Similarly, residents of Peshawar are facing issues with uploading and downloading content, including voice notes, photos, and videos. Online businesses in the region have also raised concerns over the impact of slow internet on their operations.

Authorities have yet to address the cause of these disruptions, leaving users frustrated as they navigate the ongoing challenges.

Persistent internet disruptions have severely affected daily life and livelihoods in Karachi, leaving citizens grappling with communication breakdowns.

These outages, linked to political protests by PTI supporters en route to Islamabad, have compounded frustrations among students, professionals, and small online business owners, meanwhile, online cab services, a lifeline for many in the city lacking enough public transportation, have been hit hard.

During an interview with a private media channel, a Karachi entrepreneur shared that disrupted logistics have stalled operations, while another business owner revealed losses exceeding Rs 100,000 due to internet disruption.
