The Chairman of Mohajir Qaumi Movement – Pakistan (MQM-P) Afaq Ahmed has announced a new movement to tackle Karachi’s challenges, urging citizens to display white flags on homes and vehicles as a symbol of support.
Ahmed plans to hold a major public gathering on April 12 in Karachi, where he will make a significant announcement.
Speaking at a press conference at his residence, he reaffirmed his party’s commitment, dedicating their foundation day to those who sacrificed for the Mohajir cause.
As political activities intensify among MQM-P, PPP, Jamaat-e-Islami, and PTI, MQM-P is aiming to re-establish its presence in Karachi, focusing on Central District.
Ahmed revealed that many Mohajirs reside there, yet no party besides MQM-P addresses their concerns.
He confirmed plans to open a party office in the district and temporarily relocate there to engage closely with the community.
