In a shocking incident in Karachi’s Model Colony, a citizen was kidnapped in broad daylight along with his double cabin vehicle.
CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced showing the moment of the abduction, where the victim was taken hostage by suspects at gunpoint.
According to the details, the kidnappers blocked the victim’s path with their car, holding him at gunpoint, before driving off with the citizen and his vehicle.
The suspects also snatched the victim’s mobile phone and cash during the incident.
After the kidnapping, the victim was later dropped outside the city on the Northern Bypass. The victim’s brother, Khalid, has filed a complaint, and a case has been registered.
The FIR mentions that the victim was identified as Khalid, who was left on the Northern Bypass after the crime, while the vehicle involved is registered under the name of Faisal Ayub.
Ali Nawaz, the plaintiff, expressed his frustration, stating that despite reporting the crime, the police have failed to take action since the incident occurred a day ago.
Authorities are yet to make any arrests, as the investigation continues.
