Karachi is set to launch a large-scale anti-encroachment operation across the city, including all cantonment areas.
The drive comes in response to growing encroachment issues, particularly in business districts.
The Korangi Cantonment Board will begin its operation today, focusing on Bhittai Colony and nearby areas.
Similar actions are planned in Clifton, Defence, Darakhshan, and Gizri.
The Shahrah-e-Faisal Cantonment Board will also initiate an anti-encroachment drive within its jurisdiction, while the Malir Cantt Cantonment Board will target Safoora Chowrangi and surrounding areas.
Encroachment removal efforts will cover all cantonment areas, including DHA.
