Karachi Police has announced a traffic plan for the Tri-Series and the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 matches scheduled at National Bank Stadium (National Stadium), Karachi.
The tri-series matches will take place on February 12 and 14, while the Champions Trophy matches are scheduled to be held on February 19, 21, and March 1 in Karachi Stadium.
According to the traffic police, both sides of Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open during match days for traffic. In addition, a special traffic plan has been prepared for spectators heading towards the stadium.
Parking locations and their routes
A parking space at the National Coaching Centre and China Ground has been designated for the spectators coming from the bridge of Karsaz Road, while those coming from Millennium and New Town can also use the same parking areas.
Heavy traffic
During the match days, heavy traffic will be diverted from Sohrab Goth to Nipa and traffic from Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square, while vehicles from Peoples’ Chowrangi will be redirected to University Road.
Additionally, the routes from Karsaz to the stadium, Millennium to New Town, and Stadium Signal to Hassan Square will be closed to heavy traffic.
The authorities requested the public to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies and traffic police to avoid inconvenience.
Police have advised fans to park their vehicles only in designated areas to avoid inconvenience.
