safety guidelines Karachi schools

In response to the recent rise in child kidnappings, the Karachi police have released new safety guidelines for schools and seminaries (Madrasa) to protect children.

Under the new guidelines, the police emphasize that children should only be allowed to leave with their parents, ensuring that no unauthorized individuals can take them.

Additionally, the advisory strongly recommends that parents accompany their children to school or seminaries and avoid sending them alone.

These measures aim to provide greater security for children as concerns over their safety continue to grow in the city.

Karachi in the first month of 2025, has reported a surge in child kidnapping cases.

Two minor children from the same neighborhood of Karachi’s Garden are reportedly missing.

As per the parents’ statement, the two kids – five-year-old Alyaan and six-year-old Ali Raza – were playing outside the house after returning from the madrasa.

The parents after searching for the missing minor kids for two days reached out to the police where the First Information Report (FIR) of kidnapping was launched.

Following the FIR, the police officials initiated a search operation to recover the missing children.

The Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident and sought a detailed report from the additional IG.

The Sindh CM directed the police to stay in touch with the parents, immediately recover the children, and submit a report.
