A gas suction pump machine exploded in a house, injuring a woman in Karachi.
According to details, a gas leak caused an explosion in a house in the Korangi crossing Bhittai Colony area of Karachi.
Rescue officials stated that the accident occurred due to an explosion in a gas suction machine, however, the injured woman has been shifted to the hospital for immediate medical assistance.

It is pertinent to mention here that domestic consumers are the most affected by the gas crisis in the country.
Due to the decrease in gas pressure, women face difficulties in cooking, however, to avoid this situation, many consumers install compressors to get more gas pressure from the pipeline.
These compressors are extremely dangerous and in many cases, due to the explosion, several incidents have been reported in which family members have been seriously injured and sometimes even killed.
