Saudi Arabia has revealed the dates and venues for the 2027 Asian Cup, announcing the tournament will be held from January 2027.
According to media reports, the tournament is scheduled to be held from January 7 to February 5, 2027, with matches to take place in three major cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar.
The report suggested that the five stadiums in Riyadh will host the matches, including King Fahd Sports City Stadium, King Saud University Stadium, Imam Muhammad bin Saud University Stadium, Kingdom Arena, and Al-Shabab Stadium.
Meanwhile, in Jeddah, King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City will be the selected venues for the tournament.
A new stadium will be constructed in Al-Khobar, located in the Eastern Region, to accommodate the tournament.
Yasser Al-Mashal, president of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, emphasized the importance of these events as preparation for Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
He expressed confidence that the Asian Cup 2027 would offer an exceptional football experience and further boost Saudi Arabia’s standing in global sports.
