The Higher Secondary Education Board has reduced the scrutiny fee for students dissatisfied with their results by 50 percent.
Previously, students had to pay Rs 1,000 per paper for scrutiny, but now the fee is lowered to Rs 500.
In a statement, the Board informed that scrutiny forms will be accepted until February 3, 2025.
Students can download the scrutiny forms and fee vouchers from the official website of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK).
Special counters for form submission and fee payment have been set up at the Facilitation Center for students’ convenience.
Despite concerns from students, parents, and political parties over the results of the 11th grade, particularly under the Intermediate Board Karachi, only a few students have submitted scrutiny forms so far.
The Chairman of the Board announced an inquiry committee to look into these concerns.
