Pakistani citizens planning to travel abroad for tourism, employment, immigration, or other reasons must obtain a passport.
The Directorate of Immigration and Passports issues these passports, with citizens required to submit necessary documents and pay the applicable fees.
A valid Pakistani passport grants citizens the protection of Pakistan’s diplomatic and consular representatives while abroad.
To apply for a passport, citizens can visit the nearest Passport Department office.
