Five health experts from India have arrived in Pakistan to participate in the 13th SAARC ENT Congress, scheduled from December 6 to 8.
According to local media outlet, the event brings together medical professionals from across South Asia in Karachi, Pakistan after 12 years and beyond to discuss advancements in ear, nose, and throat (ENT) healthcare.
The visiting Indian experts praised Pakistan’s hospitality, declaring it safe for Indian citizens.
Professor KP Morwani expressed his delight, saying, “Pakistan is as safe as any city in India, and Pakistanis are so hospitable that it feels humbling.” He shared that his parents had migrated from Sindh to India and returning to Pakistan felt like revisiting his birthplace.

Another delegate, Professor Patil, remembered about his previous trip back in 2006 when it took just 90 minutes to travel from Mumbai to Karachi.
This time, due to indirect routes, the journey spanned 12 hours via Bahrain. ENT Professor Taneja added, “Hearing and speaking Urdu here feels truly refreshing.”
The Indian health experts stressed the importance of fostering more opportunities for exchanges between Indian and Pakistani citizens and professionals.
Professor Sameer Qureshi, Organizing Secretary of the SAARC ENT Congress, highlighted that the event hosts 30 foreign delegates, including participants from SAARC nations like Afghanistan and other global regions.
