Mayor Wahab invites Czech investors to explore opportunities in Karachi

Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Tuesday extended an invitation for Czech investors to explore opportunities in Karachi.

Karachi Mayor, Murtaza Wahab held a meeting with Czech Ambassador Ladislav Stienhubel, at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) head office, focused on strengthening bilateral relations and boosting cooperation between the two regions.

Wahab briefed Stienhubel on Karachi’s rich history and the city’s ongoing development projects aimed at enhancing its infrastructure.

He highlighted Karachi’s strategic location as Pakistan’s industrial and business hub, highlighting abundant investment opportunities in energy, tourism, and industrial zones.

The mayor underscored the current government’s efforts to create a favorable environment for investors, which includes developing industrial zones to increase exports and stabilize the national economy.

Wahab called for stronger foreign partnerships, particularly with Czech investors, to enhance the city’s development and improve living standards for Karachi’s residents.

Stienhubel acknowledged Karachi’s significance as a key business hub and recognized that the city’s growth would benefit Pakistan as a whole.

Both leaders agreed that strengthening economic ties would foster mutual growth and benefit both countries.
