Pakistani citizens traveling to or living in Germany are now required to pay a new fee to obtain the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).
National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has categorized countries into two zones, users will have to pay different fees for both zones, with Germany placed in Zone A.
Fee in Pakistani Rupees (PKR)
The general fee for a NICOP application in Germany is set at Rs 11,340.
For those requiring faster processing, the urgent fee will be Rs 16,589, while the executive fee is Rs 21,820.
These rates apply to applications submitted at NADRA Registration Centers across Pakistan.
Fee in US Dollars (USD) – For Online Applications
For applicants opting to apply online through the Pak-ID website, the fees are charged in US dollars. The normal fee is $39, urgent processing costs $57, and the executive fee is $75.
Applicants must provide their passport numbers when submitting their NICOP applications. Dual nationals holding this identity document can travel to Pakistan without requiring a visa.
