Preparations for the much-anticipated transfer of the elephant ‘Madhubala’ from Karachi Zoo to Safari Park reached the final stages.
After 15 years apart, Madhubala will soon reunite with her sisters, Sonia and Malaika.
The Four Paws team, overseeing the operation, has shared images of the ongoing preparations.
“Our team on site is busy finalizing the final works,” said a spokesperson for the international animal welfare organization.
A special swimming pool has been prepared for Madhubala at the Safari Park, and the transfer route has been finalized to ensure a smooth journey.
Karachi’s Mayor announced Madhubala’s transfer on November 26, noting the significance of this event.
The reunion is expected to bring joy not only to Madhubala but also to her sisters and the animal lovers of Karachi.
