The Sindh Cabinet on Wednesday approved the appointment of 195 new teachers under a teaching license initiative aimed at boosting educational standards across the province.

In addition to the appointments, the Sindh Cabinet extended a contract renewal with the Medical Emergency Resilience Foundation (MERF), which manages eight critical health facilities across the province.
The renewed contract, valid for the current financial year, ensures continued support to hospitals and health centers.
The facilities under MERF’s management include the DHQ Thatto, THQ Mirpur Sakro, and RHC Gharo, RHC Var, RHC Jhark, RHC Jhangshahi, RHC Baghan, and RHC Keti Bandar.
Additionally, the Sindh Cabinet granted a six-month extension to a contract professor from Khairpur Medical College.
