The Karachi Metropolitan Anti-Encroachment Department conducted operations against encroachments in 3 districts of the city.
Bashir Siddiqui, Senior Director, Anti-Encroachment Department, KMC, supervised the operation.
The operation was carried out in South District, Korangi District and Central District.
An operation was carried out against encroachments on 12000 Road Korangi Crossing in Korangi District and Haroon Shopping Plaza in Buffer Zone in Central District.
The operation resulted in the seizure of cabins, hotel equipment, chairs, tables, iron stalls, puncture repair equipment, chicken cages, stalls, rocks, food stalls and other encroachments in front of shops and sidewalk shops.
Police arrested two persons for resistance.
Area Additional Deputy Commissioner, Area Assistant Commissioner, Area Police SHO, Traffic Police KSO, Anti-Encroachment Police, City Warden and Officer Staff Anti-Encroachment were also present on the occasion along with anti-encroachment teams.
