New mosquito-borne West Nile disease spread in Pakistan

Evidence of West Nile Fever, a new mosquito-borne disease in Pakistan, is emerging in Pakistan. According to health expert Dr Faisal Mahmood, West Nile virus is spread by mosquito bites like dengue and malaria.

Experts have expressed concern over the death of a large number of birds in Pakistan. Experts say large numbers of birds dying for no apparent reason could be caused by the West Nile virus.

According to Geo News, Dr. Faisal Mehmood says that West Nile virus is spread by mosquitoes like dengue and malaria. However, medical experts also say that there is no need to worry about the presence of the virus in Pakistan.

According to Dr. Iram Khan, research in 2016 has proved the presence of West Nile virus in Pakistan and the virus can cause polio-style disability.

DG Health Pakistan Dr Rana Muhammad Safdar said that there were unconfirmed reports of the presence of West Nile virus and asked the National Institutes of Health to investigate these reports.
