Karachi’s sunny spell over, rains expected tomorrow

The current monsoon phase is predicted to bring rains to Karachi starting on Tuesday, according to a forecast issued on Monday by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

According to the Met Office, Karachi will once more see light rain, and the following 24 hours will continue to be partly overcast.

“A westerly wave is evident across western and upper portions of the nation,” the PMD stated in a statement.

The majority of the country’s plains are predicted to see hot, muggy weather today, according to the Met Office. However, isolated locations in Kashmir, northeastern Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit Baltistan are predicted to have partly overcast weather with rain-wind/thundershowers.

A minimum temperature of 27°C was recorded in Karachi Monday, while the maximum temperature is expected to be between 31°C and 33°C.

The humidity ratio was recorded at 81%, while winds from the southwest were blowing at 16km/h, according to the PMD.
