Karachi’s coronavirus positivity rate has risen to 25pc: Murad

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said on Monday that coronavirus cases are growing rapidly in Karachi.

According to the chief minister, Karachi had a 14% positivity rate between July 13 to 19. However, the rate has grown to a whopping 25%.

Shah said that the rapid growth in the number of cases is a matter of concern and that the proportions with which the cases have increased are worrisome. He then advised citizens to remain careful and take precautions against the virus.

In light of the rapid increase in coronavirus cases, the Sindh government decided last week that schools should be shut once more and indoor dining banned once again.
