All field officials have been told to stay put in their areas of duty during the impending rains by Karachi Police Chief.
The officers and staff assigned to the Karachi Police and traffic units were also given instructions to stay in their designated zones.
The instructions were given ss traffic police perform their duty to ensure a smooth flow of traffic during and after rain. The whole staff of the city’s SDPOs, SHOs, and Traffic SOs will continue to patrol the streets.
The Special Security Unit’s Rain Emergency Unit has also been given instructions to be prepared for any potential urban flooding situations and to always be willing to assist the general public.
