International drug dealers arrested in Karachi

Police in Karachi has picked up two men under the suspicion of smuggling drugs. Ajmer police says that the two men were part of an international drug cartel. The arrested men were trying to smuggle heroin and ice caps out of the country.

SSP Central Malik Murtaza said that Zubair Siddiqui and Waqar Siddiqui were arrested and several drug-laced capsules were recovered from them.

The SSP said that the arrested suspects are key operatives of the international smuggling gang. 

The suspects used naive persons for smuggling and train them on how to ingest the capsules to smuggle hem within their body.

He said that a person can swallow half a kilo of drug through capsules and that heroin or ice capsules are sent to Dubai, Qatar and other Arab countries. 

The SSP said that the 12-member gang has spread to Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Arab countries. There are Nigerians in Lahore for special packaging of capsules.
