The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation will be raze four roundabouts in Korangi Industrial Area to improve traffic flow and relieve bottlenecks.
The area routinely experiences grid-locked jams during the peak hours when people rush to and from offices.
KMC will thus flatten Brookes, Bilal, Shan and Indus roundabouts in Korangi district, Karachi Commissioner and Administrator Iftikhar Ali Shallwani confirmed the development.
Traffic signals, instead, would be installed at these points, according to Shallwani. The roads leading to these roundabouts will be widened, too, which, he said, would improve the traffic flow in Korangi.
