The 24-karat silver rate rose by Rs. 144, closing at Rs. 6,512 per tola.
This rebound recovers a significant portion of Thursday’s losses, suggesting that buying interest has returned at current levels. The white metal is once again trading above the Rs. 6,500 mark.
In 10 grams, 24-karat silver increased by Rs. 123 to Rs. 5,582. The gains across both measurements indicate renewed positive sentiment for silver.
The recovery was supported by a positive global backdrop. The international silver price rose by $1.44 to $60.34, recovering back above the critical $60 level. This global strength provided a supportive environment for local prices.
Since the late August peak near Rs. 7,329, silver remains below those highs, having lost approximately Rs. 820 per tola during the recent correction. However, the metal remains above the July lows near Rs. 6,000, and today’s recovery suggests that the white metal may be finding a base at current levels.
A day earlier, silver rate in Pakistan declined on Thursday, with the white metal posting a significant loss despite gold’s small gain. The 24-karat silver rate fell by Rs. 120, closing at Rs. 6,368 per tola.
In 10 grams, 24-karat silver decreased by Rs. 103 to Rs. 5,459. The substantial declines across both measurements indicate renewed selling pressure.
