The weaker global gold market contributed to the decline in local rates, reversing the modest gains recorded during the previous week.

Gold Rates Fall Below Rs. 454,000

Monday’s decline pushed gold rates in Karachi below the Rs. 454,000-per-tola level after the precious metal had remained above that mark in recent sessions.

The latest move reflects the impact of changing global market conditions on domestic bullion prices, with international gold currently trading at $4,308 per ounce.

Market Outlook

Gold prices in Pakistan remain influenced by international gold prices, currency movements, global economic developments and investor sentiment.

Traders and investors will be watching whether gold rates stabilize around current levels in the coming sessions or remain under pressure if weakness continues in international markets.
