Two alleged robbers were killed after an angry mob attacked and set them on fire near 4-K Chowrangi in Karachi’s Khawaja Ajmer Nagri area, according to police and rescue officials.

According to initial reports, the two men allegedly robbed a passerby near 4-K Chowrangi before being caught by local residents.
The suspects were reportedly beaten by the mob before they were allegedly doused with fuel and set on fire near a petrol station.
Police Recover Pistol, Mobile Phones
Police and rescue teams reached the scene following the incident and shifted the bodies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police said a pistol and two mobile phones were recovered from the suspects.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, including the circumstances surrounding the alleged robbery and the subsequent mob attack.

Karachi has witnessed similar incidents in the past, with citizens taking action against alleged street criminals.
In 2022, two alleged robbers carrying toy guns were caught by citizens after they reportedly snatched valuables near Golimar’s Sanitary Market.

The suspects were beaten by residents before being handed over to police. During the initial investigation, they reportedly confessed to carrying out robberies using toy weapons.
