Karachi silver prices fell sharply on Wednesday, with 24-karat silver dropping Rs. 270 per tola and slipping below the Rs. 7,000 mark as international silver prices also declined.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat silver fell to Rs. 6,859 per tola, down Rs. 270 from the previous session.

The price of 24-karat silver per 10 grams declined by Rs. 231 to Rs. 5,880.
Silver rates in Karachi and Pakistan, September 2, 2026:
- 24-karat silver per tola: Rs. 6,859 (-Rs. 270)
- 24-karat silver per 10 grams: Rs. 5,880 (-Rs. 231)
International silver prices also fell sharply, declining by $2.70 to settle at $63.80 per ounce.
Wednesday’s decline came after silver prices fell by Rs. 50 per tola on Tuesday. The latest drop pushed domestic silver prices below Rs. 6,900 after they had remained above Rs. 7,100 during the previous session.

The sharp movement marks a return to volatility in the local silver market following a brief period of relatively smaller price changes.
At Rs. 6,859 per tola, silver has now moved below the Rs. 7,000 threshold, while the decline in international prices has added further pressure to domestic rates.
Silver prices in Pakistan are influenced by international bullion rates, industrial demand and investor sentiment.
Market participants will be watching whether prices stabilize around current levels or continue to decline in the coming sessions.
