Karachi silver prices fell slightly on Tuesday, with 24-karat silver dropping by Rs. 50 per tola as international silver prices also edged lower during a relatively quiet session.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat silver fell by Rs. 50 per tola to Rs. 7,129.

The price of 24-karat silver per 10 grams also declined by Rs. 43 to Rs. 6,111.

  • Silver, 24K per tola: Rs. 7,129 (-50)
  • Silver, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 6,111 (-43)

International silver prices also slipped by $0.50 to settle at $66.50 per ounce, following Monday’s gain and extending a relatively stable trend in the global precious metals market.

The mild decline in international prices was reflected in the local market, with silver rates easing across all categories. Tuesday’s fall was also considerably smaller than the sharp decline recorded last week.

Karachi silver prices pare back Monday’s gain

Tuesday’s decline follows a Rs. 67 per tola increase on Monday, which had lifted silver prices to Rs. 7,179.

The latest Rs. 50 drop has erased most of Monday’s gain but left silver prices well above last week’s levels.

Recent trading has shown signs of stabilization, with smaller daily movements replacing the sharper swings seen during the previous week.

Karachi silver prices remain above Rs. 7,100

At Rs. 7,129 per tola, 24-karat silver remains above the Rs. 7,100 level despite Tuesday’s decline.

International silver at $66.50 per ounce has also remained close to its recent range, suggesting that global market conditions are relatively steady following last week’s correction.

Market outlook remains steady

Pakistan silver prices continue to be influenced by global industrial demand, investor sentiment and movements in international precious metals markets.
