The solid rally in global gold rates was reflected in domestic pricing, with today’s gold rates in Karachi climbing firmly across all categories throughout the session.

Gold Rates in Karachi Close July With a Strong Final Session

Before that, Tuesday had seen a sharp fall of Rs. 4,300 per tola which had reversed Monday’s powerful surge of Rs. 4,000 per tola, creating one of the more dramatic sequences of back-to-back swings seen during an already exceptionally volatile July.
Friday’s Rs. 3,000 per tola gain now closes the month on the strongest positive session since Monday’s surge, and pushes gold rates in Karachi to their highest closing level since the week of July 21-22 when the market had briefly climbed above Rs. 433,000.
The ability to finish the month with a meaningful gain after such a turbulent July is an encouraging development heading into August.
