The body of a 7-year-old girl who had been raped and murdered was discovered in Karachi’s Quaidabad area on Friday, according to police and hospital officials.
The body was discovered on a construction site near Mengal School in Landhi’s Muslimabad colony.
A large crowd gathered at the scene to express their outrage at the unfortunate incident.
According to Malir SSP Irfan Bahadur, the girl went missing on Thursday around 2 p.m., and her body was discovered today (Friday).
He went on to say that the police were waiting for the doctors’ findings before taking any further legal action.
To fulfil legal requirements, the minor’s body was transferred to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
