After two consecutive sessions of losses had followed last week’s powerful four-day recovery, Monday’s surge offers a fresh and convincing sign that the broader upward trend may be reasserting itself.
Gold Rates in Karachi Bounce Back After a Difficult End to Last Week
Monday’s strong advance follows Saturday’s marginal gain of Rs. 300 per tola, which had offered only the most tentative sign of stabilization after Friday’s sharp fall of Rs. 4,600 per tola and Thursday’s dip of Rs. 1,800 per tola.

Together, Thursday and Friday had given back Rs. 6,400 per tola of the powerful mid-week recovery, leaving the market in a more uncertain position heading into the weekend.
Monday’s gain of Rs. 4,000 per tola has now reversed most of that two-session pullback in a single session, pushing gold rates in Karachi back to their highest level since Wednesday’s peak of Rs. 433,836 per tola.
The ability to recover this strongly at the start of the new week is an encouraging development and suggests the market retains meaningful upward momentum despite the volatility of recent sessions.

Market Outlook Turns More Positive
Gold rates in Karachi continue to be shaped by global economic signals, currency movements, and investor sentiment.
Monday’s powerful opening to the new week builds on a broader recovery that has lifted domestic gold prices by roughly Rs. 10,000 per tola from the historic lows of July 17, and the market’s ability to recover sharply after last week’s pullback is an encouraging sign for the near-term outlook.
Traders and investors will be watching closely whether gold rates in Karachi can sustain today’s momentum and push back above Rs. 433,000 in the sessions ahead, or whether the market faces renewed resistance as it approaches those levels.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
