Karachi Silver prices today recorded a sharp decline, with the metal falling significantly across all categories as global precious metals markets came under renewed pressure, diverging notably from gold’s modest positive session and pushing domestic silver prices to fresh lows not seen in several months.

The price of 24-karat silver per 10 grams also declined by Rs. 115, settling at Rs. 5,276.

Karachi Silver prices today, July 16, 2026:

  • Silver, 24K per tola: Rs. 6,155 (-134)
  • Silver, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 5,276 (-115)

International silver prices also fell sharply, declining by $1.34 to settle at $56.76 per ounce, pushing global rates to fresh multi-month lows and extending the sustained weakness that has gripped the metal throughout July.

The steep decline in global silver rates was reflected in domestic pricing, with Karachi Silver prices today falling sharply across all categories throughout the session.

The scale of the fall is notable, and the divergence between silver and gold on Thursday, with gold edging up while silver fell sharply, underlines how much weaker the near-term outlook has become for the metal.

Karachi Silver Prices Today Break Below Rs. 6,200

Thursday’s steep fall follows Wednesday’s flat session, when Pakistan silver prices had held unchanged at Rs. 6,289, offering a brief pause after Tuesday’s decline of Rs. 50 per tola and Monday’s sharp fall of Rs. 123 per tola.

That pause now appears to have been a brief consolidation rather than a turning point, as Thursday’s Rs. 134 per tola decline has pushed Karachi Silver prices to their lowest levels in several months.

The broader picture for Karachi silver prices over the past month has been deeply concerning. The metal had briefly pushed toward Rs. 6,800 per tola during the early July recovery before a sustained and relentless run of losses reversed those gains entirely.

Thursday’s closing price of Rs. 6,155 per tola now sits dramatically below that brief high and represents one of the lowest levels recorded in Pakistan’s silver market in recent memory.

Karachi Silver Prices Hit Fresh Multi-Month Lows

At Rs. 6,155 per tola, Karachi Silver prices have now fallen to their lowest level in several months, with the Rs. 6,000 mark beginning to come into view for the first time since the worst of the June sell-off.

International silver at $56.76 per ounce has also moved to fresh multi-month lows globally, reinforcing the domestic weakness and offering little reason for near-term optimism.

Market Outlook Remains Under Significant Pressure

Karachi Silver prices continue to be influenced by global industrial demand, particularly from sectors such as electronics and renewable energy, alongside broader shifts in investor sentiment.

Thursday’s sharp decline, coming on a day when gold managed a modest gain, suggests silver is facing its own specific headwinds at this stage, adding to concerns about the metal’s near-term direction.

Traders and investors will be watching closely whether Karachi silver prices can find any support around current levels heading into the weekend, or whether the Rs. 6,000 mark comes into play in the sessions ahead.

All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
