The FIFA World Cup 2026 will begin with three opening ceremonies across the tournament’s host countries for the first time in history.
Unlike previous World Cups, which featured a single opening ceremony, the 2026 edition will have separate but connected celebrations in Mexico, Canada and the United States.
The ceremonies will highlight the culture, traditions and artistic identity of each host nation while promoting a message of unity.
