Residents of various Karachi neighbourhoods have had to deal with sudden gas load shedding or low stove pressure.
For the past day, there has been no gas delivered to Landhi, North Karachi, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, or North Nazimabad.
Sir Syed Town, New Karachi, Nagan Chowrangi, Orangi Town, Railway Colony, Rashid Minhas Road, Federal B Area, Gadap, and Kathore are other areas that have been severely impacted by gas load shedding.
Residents complained that the gas supply was too intermittent and the pressure was so low that cooking was challenging.
It should be noted that the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) was only supplying the province with less than 900mmcfd of the gas that was needed, which is more than 1,250 mmcfd.
