Pakistan’s bullion market recorded another strong gain on Thursday, as gold prices extended their recovery for the second consecutive day amid continued momentum in international markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs. 7,800, settling at Rs. 496,762.

Similarly, the rate of 24-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs. 6,687 to Rs. 425,893, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams gained Rs. 6,130, closing at Rs. 390,416.
Gold rates in Pakistan on Thursday, May 7, 2026:
- Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 496,762 (+7,800)
- Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 425,893 (+6,687)
- Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 390,416 (+6,130)
Meanwhile, international gold prices also recorded a further rise, gaining $78 to settle at $4,744 per ounce.

The continued upward trend in global bullion markets has provided strong support to domestic gold prices, as investor confidence in precious metals remains firm.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
