Pakistan and Bangladesh are set to face each other in a two-match Test series from May 8 to May 20 as part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27 cycle.
Both matches will begin at 9:00 am PST, with the toss scheduled for 8:30 am.

The first Test will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, while the second Test will take place at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
This will be the first Test series between the two sides in nearly two years.
In their last series in 2024, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan 2–0, winning their first-ever Test series against the Green Shirts in Rawalpindi.
Pakistan, however, enter this series with confidence after drawing a Test series against current World Test Champions South Africa in October 2025, earlier in the current World Test Championship cycle.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, lost their opening series of the cycle against Sri Lanka 1–0, with the first Test ending in a draw.

Pakistan have included several players based on strong domestic performances, with four uncapped players in the squad; Abdullah Fazal, Amad Butt, Azan Awais, and wicketkeeper Muhammad Ghazi Ghori.
