A sudden power breakdown at the Dhabeji Pumping Station has raised concerns over disruption in Karachi’s water supply system, officials confirmed on Monday.

The incident reportedly occurred due to a technical fault in the electricity supply provided by K-Electric.

According to a spokesperson of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC), the breakdown took place in the second phase of the Dhabeji pumping facility, which is a critical source of water supply for the city.
