The silver rate in Karachi declined as the local bullion market recorded a slight correction after recent strong gains.
According to market data, 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs. 179, settling at Rs. 9,175. Meanwhile, 24-karat silver per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 153, reaching Rs. 7,866.
Traders said the drop represents a small pullback after silver posted strong gains earlier in the week.

Despite the decline, prices remain comfortably above the Rs. 9,000 per tola level, which analysts consider a key psychological support point in the local market.
Internationally, the price of silver fell by $1.79, reaching $86.91 per ounce. The global correction prompted profit-taking among investors in the domestic bullion market.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for purity 999 (24K).

Earlier to this, silver prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp increase, with the rate of 24-karat silver per tola rising by Rs460 to reach Rs9,354 in the local bullion market.
According to market data, the price of 24-karat silver per 10 grams increased by Rs394, bringing the new rate to Rs8,019. Bullion traders say silver showed the strongest performance among precious metals in recent sessions.
